Our client, Hainan Airlines, announced the first ever direct flight between Beijing and Dublin!
On March 15th, just in time for St. Patrick’s Day, Hainan Airlines announced the first ever direct flight between Beijing and Dublin!
The announcement was marked with a special reception at the Irish Embassy in Beijing and CAE Parc Aviation were delighted to be invited along to the event. Our colleagues Alex Yu, Paul Li and Hera Zang were all in attendance in addition to the Tánaiste Simon Conveney and representatives from Dublin Airport, Hainan Airlines, Beijing Airport and the Irish Tourism Board.
The new direct flight will start from June and will operate twice weekly, round trip, with the hope of improving tourism between the two countries and also assisting for onward travel to Australia.
We had a great time at the event, but were just a little disappointed that no Guinness was available to sample!
