About Turkish Airlines
Turkish Airlines is the flag carrier of Turkey and serves more destinations than any other airline in the world. The airline operates both passenger and cargo flights to more than 300 destinations in over 120 countries globally.
It operates a fleet of over 330 aircraft from its main bases in Istanbul and Ankara. Currently, its passenger fleet is made up of narrow and widebody Boeing and Airbus aircraft including A319s, A320s, A321s, A330s, A340s and A350s, as well as 737s, 777s and 787s. The airline’s cargo fleet comprises of Airbus A300s, A310s, A330s and Boeing 747s and 777s.
A bridge between East and West, Istanbul is the largest city in Turkey and the country’s economic and historical centre. Located at the Bosporus Strait, the city straddles the continents of Europe and Asia. One of the world’s largest cities, Istanbul is home to more than 15 million people.

Due to its size and geographical location, Istanbul’s climate cannot be classified into one type, instead it has features of at least three climates zones, with some areas experiencing different environments throughout the year. Generally, summer is hot and humid with low rainfall, while winter is colder and often features lake effect snow from the Black Sea.
Istanbul has a lively nightlife and is home to many bars, restaurants and wine houses, and is also has numerous shopping centres and bazaars.
